Taylor Hall Dominates UWI Mona Sports Day 2026 

The energy was electric and the competition fierce as UWI Mona Sports Day lit up the campus on March 5, 2026, delivering an unforgettable day of athletic excellence, school pride, and spirited rivalry among the halls.

At the end of an action-packed day, Taylor Hall emerged as the undisputed champions of the track and field competition. The Taylor Hall men delivered a commanding performance, finishing with an impressive 199 points, while the Taylor Hall women also dominated with 166 points. Their combined strength and consistency across events secured Taylor Hall’s position as the overall Track and Field Champions of UWI Mona Sports Day 2026.

Individual performances also captured the spotlight. Archie Rowles of George Alleyne Hall was crowned Champion Male, finishing the day with 25 points after several standout performances. On the women’s side, Marney Musseden of Taylor Hall delivered an exceptional showing, securing the title of Champion Female with an impressive 33 points.

The excitement extended beyond the track as the cheerleading competition brought rhythm, creativity, and unmatched school spirit to the field. Elsa Leo Rhynie Hall captured the Cheerleading Championship, thrilling the crowd with an energetic and well-executed routine that showcased true hall pride.

A special shout-out goes to our Guild Chairpersons for their leadership and commitment to student life. In particular, we recognize Mr. Anthony Myrie for the splendid job he has done this year as Guild Campus Chair (GCC), playing a key role in helping to deliver impactful student events like Sports Day.
