Faculty Research Seminar Series
The Faculty of Sport started its Research Seminar Series on February 27, 2020 focusing on the rise of eSports in Jamaica.
Presentations were made by
- Mr. Gregory Moore, President, Jamaica eSports Initiative (JEI)
- Mr. Andrew Johnson, Vice President, JEI & eSports Program Director
- Dr. Aldeam Facey, Head, Academic Programmes & Activities, Mona Academy of Sport
The presentations covered eSport as an emerging discipline, eSports in Jamaica, the role of JEI and the inclusion of intercollegiate eSport teams in competitions.
