The UWIAA Washington, D.C. Chapter will continue to mark the UWI’s 70th with a SUMMER LUNCHEON at which Rev. Canon Kortright Davis will be presented with the Chapter’s prestigious Pelican Award.

We will be cruising with Marella Cruise Line aboard the Marella Discovery 2 on their Cuban Fusion tour, departing from Montego Bay, Jamaica to The Cayman Islands, Havana Cuba, Cozumel Mexico and returning to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Come back to Mona – where it all began …. All Alumni and “Friends of the UWI” are invited to come back and to take part in the “70 Years of Service, 70 Years of Leadership” festivities in July 2018!

The UWI Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Cave Hill Campus, in collaboration with The UWI Open Campus (OC), will on 14th September, 2017 host the Inaugural Lecture of the Eastern Caribbean Public Lecture Series in Saint Lucia.
UWI graduates in Trinidad and Tobago are coming together to host a reunion entitled Remembering UWI Mona 1974 - 1978 for those who attended the Mona campus during those years.
UWI Pelican Sandra Perkins, formerly Braithwaite, stated that activities will include cocktails at the National Academy for the Performing Arts on October 20, at 6.30 pm, and dinner and dance at the Century Ballroom, Queen’s Park Oval on October 21.
