UWI Connect is available online. For those who prefer to print the magazine, it can be downloaded in a pdf (magazine) format.
Formerly called Alumni@UWI, the magazine has been renamed UWI Connect, to emphasize "Connectivity to the Alma Mater" which highlights the relationship between UWI and its alumni.
UWI Connect keeps you up-to-date with news from the UWIAA chapters, the regional student alumni programme: UWI STAT and the four campuses in the 15 Caribbean countries in which this regional institution operates.
This publication celebrates the achievements of faculty, alumni and regional and international professionals and leaders in all spheres. It highlights the undergraduate and graduate programmes, new developments, research, and the overall impact that The University of the West Indies has had and continues to have, not only in the Caribbean,but in the world.
It strives to engender “Pelican Pride” amongst alumni and to make all graduates feel that they are truly part of "One UWI, One Alumni Family".
The Editor-in-Chief of UWI Connect, Celia Davidson Francis, heads the Alumni Relations function for The University of the West Indies. She is well appointed to direct the editorial production process and ensures that the creative framework for this regional publication targets the needs and wants of UWI alumni.
