During the Mona Orientation, guest speaker Mr Fabian Stewart, Lecturer in Sport Business Management, shared valuable insights that resonate with all our students across the campuses.

As you begin your academic journey, remember that the global sports industry is projected to be worth US$8 trillion by 2050. Now is the time to build your pathway and position yourself for success in this dynamic and rapidly evolving sector.

Mr Stewart encouraged students to move beyond surface learning and embrace deep learning, challenging them to remain motivated despite the many competing demands on their time and attention.

He left students with a powerful reminder from legendary basketball coach Bob Knight:

"The key is not the will to win. Everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important."
