On Friday, March 26, 2021, Dean Mansingh hosted a small ceremony to recognise the top performing students of semester 1, 2020/21 who had met the criteria to be on the Dean's List. 

Awardees shared the challenges they experienced during the semester and how they had coped.  In acknowledging the support and passion from their lecturers, the Mona students singled out Dr. Aldeam Facey and Mrs. Shara Creary-Yan who always made themselves available to answer queries.  The students also pointed to a system of accountability among their peers.

Prof. Funso Aiyejina, head of the St. Augustine Academy of Sport, encouraged the students to continue to fly the flag of the Faculty and the region. Mr. Roderick Best, Cave Hill student Faculty representative, advised the students to keep on pressing and to always put their best foot forward.

Dr. Mansingh urged all the recipients to continue to take the positives out of every situation despite the current challenges.  

Students keep believing in yourself and trust your hard work, it will unlock doors you can’t see!
