At the Central Executive Committee meeting of March 22, 2019, it was announced that the UWI Open Campus TCI had just been officially relaunched in Providenciales. Mr. Sandeep Jagger noted that he had received commitment from over 20 alumni to help him revitalize the UWIAA TCI Chapter.

The UWI Development and Endowment Fund (UWIDEF) is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1990. Over 27 years old, it has donated nearly JMD $1 billion worth of assistance to the UWI, Mona Campus in the areas of research, scholarships, infrastructure development, and equipment for various departments such as the UWI hospital.
