UWI Audit provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the University’s operations.

Risk is an event that has the probability of impacting the achievement of desired objectives.
Audits are selected from an Audit Universe based on the results of an annual Risk Assessment. The annual audit plan is agreed with Senior Management and approved by the Audit Committee.
The department would have been selected based on the outcome of UWI Audit’s Annual Risk Assessment Process or based on ad hoc requests from the Audit Committee or Senior Management.
The length of Audits/ Reviews will depend on the scope and objectives that are determined during UWI Audit’s planning phase. This will be communicated with the audit client at the beginning of the audit.
