Workshop on Metric Development to track Strategic Plan Progress

A two-day workshop geared at tracking the progress of the current Strategic Plan as it relates to customer satisfaction of UWI products and services, was conducted by the University Office of Planning, from 11-12 October, 2018, on the St. Augustine Campus.

The objectives of the workshop were to attain a common methodology for developing staff and student perception surveys; agreement on deriving composite satisfaction scores; and finalization of questionnaires.

The workshop which included staff from the various Planning and related offices across the campuses is one of several workshops to be conducted by the UOP, to track the current Strategic Plan (2017-2022) progress, over the current academic year.

At the end of the workshop, consensus was arrived at on common questionnaires for both staff and perception surveys by the various Planning Offices. The questionnaires are expected to be launched by November via Survey Monkey, by all Campus Planning Offices.

The workshop was conducted by Senior Planning Officers Mr. Anand Dass and Dr. Halima-Sa’adia-Kassim and facilitated by Dr. Indrani Bachan-Persad, Unit Head, Economic Engagement and Industry Partnerships Unit of the UOP.
