Program Goals

  1. To develop an understanding of the various historical forms of discrimination in global sport such as race and ethnicity, gender equality, governance, inequalities, ableism and inclusion.
  2. To provide knowledge for global practitioner’s sport to effect change in keeping with the United Nation’s Global Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] especially as it relates to Gender Equality, Health and Well-Being, Reducing Inequalities, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Climate Action.
  3. To equip students with the analytical tools to conduct intersectional analyses of discrimination in sport.
  4. To provide strategies and methodologies to implement reparative justice measures through policies, and Programmemes.
