- A bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university
- An undergraduate GPA of at least 2.0 or a pass degree (exceptions would have to be approved by the Board of Graduate Studies)

Program Goals
- To develop an understanding of the various historical forms of discrimination in global sport such as race and ethnicity, gender equality, governance, inequalities, ableism and inclusion.
- To provide knowledge for global practitioner’s sport to effect change in keeping with the United Nation’s Global Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] especially as it relates to Gender Equality, Health and Well-Being, Reducing Inequalities, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Climate Action.
- To equip students with the analytical tools to conduct intersectional analyses of discrimination in sport.
- To provide strategies and methodologies to implement reparative justice measures through policies, and programmes.
