The UWI coordinated the filming of a BBC StoryWorks video entitled ‘Tackling the Effects of Climate Change’
This video was produced in October 2019 as part of the IAU Aiming Higher Video Series. It highlights how universities around the world are helping to tackle some of the biggest challenges faced by society. The UWI’s film highlights how the regional university is responding to the sargassum threat in the Caribbean, supported by the specialist research from UWI faculties and specialized research centres such as the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES), at The UWI Cave Hill Campus.
