Participation in the 2019 HLPF SIDS panel convened under the auspices of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) (July 10, 2019)


Taking up the invitation extended by the President of the Economic and Social Council, The UWI, Director of Development Dr. Richards-Kennedy served as a lead discussant on a panel entitled “Perspectives of Small Island Developing States” during the HLPF at the UN Secretariat, New York. The forum was used to highlight the work of the regional university in contributing to advancing SDG 4 (quality education) in the Caribbean.
