The State of the Caribbean Climate 2020 Report is intended to be a comprehensive ‘first-stop’ reference report that provides a state of the knowledge account of climate variability and change, which will become the premise for actionable recommendations to improve the region’s resilience across all levels and sectors.

Case Study: The Journey to a Climate Resilient Caribbean – A J-CCCP Review

Under the UNDP J-CCCP, several initiatives have been completed toward creating a more climate resilient Caribbean. This document compiles the details, facts and outcomes of ten (10) of these interventions into case studies to share the knowledge gained with stakeholders, communities and project developers, as we continue on our journey to a more climate resilient Caribbean.

Barbados Blue Economy Scoping Study

The increasing potential of the Blue Economy in Barbados as a sustainable approach to diversify the economy and create jobs is one of the key messages highlighted by the recent rapid Blue Economy Scoping Study elaborated by UNDP under the leadership of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Blue Economy and in consultation with key stakeholders. The document will serve to stir discussions around relevant policies and long-term strategies.

British Virgin Islands Strategic Blue Economy Roadmap

This Strategic Blue Economy Roadmap, developed with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), sets out an integrated approach to ocean based sustainable development which brings together economy, environment and society, consistent with the Sustainable Development Agenda (2030), Aichi Target 11 of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change (2015).
