Moodle Learning Management System
Moodle is the UWI’s Learning Management system (LMS) which provides a virtual asynchronous learning environment. This technology provides a rich set of online teaching tools and facilitates the uploading of content in various formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, images, videos). There are several tools available that allow for interaction within the course: discussion forum, quizzes among others. The Moodle LMS is branded OurVLE at the Mona Campus, the Learning Exchange at the Open Campus and the eLearning platform on the other campuses. All academic staff and students have access to the Moodle platform on each campus.
How to Access?
Academic staff and students of the University have access to the LMS through their Elearning / Instruction Support Services team in the respective Campus IT Services Department. The contact information for your campus IT Services can be found below.
