The OUCIO working with cross-campus ICT teams, combined technology, teamwork and long working hours to seamlessly transition to virtual teaching and learning and remote work

Virtual Teaching and Learning Support

  • Extended Licenses for Teaching and Learning Platforms to support full online delivery
  • Facilitated Cross-campus online examinations – MBBS on Cross-Campus Moodle platform
  • Prepared paper titled “Technology Resources to Facilitate Remote Business Operations” and presented to UWI community

Remote Work

  • Upsurge in adoption of the Microsoft O365 in the Vice Chancellery
  • Web team facilitated websites including hub of communication for the UWI COVID-19 taskforce
