Dr Vivienne Vassall - Coordinator Graduate Programmes CEM
Dr Vivienne Vassall is the Programme Coordinator, Centre for Environmental Management (CEM). She holds a PhD in Environmental Management and M.Sc. in Natural Resource Management with distinction, both from the University of the West Indies (UWI); and an MBA in Human Resource Management from the UWI in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University. She also holds a B.Sc. in Management Studies with honours from the University of the West Indies.
Dr Vassall coordinates the graduate programmes in Natural Resource Management at the Centre for Environmental Management, located at the Institute for Sustainable Development. She is also a lecturer for courses within these programmes, among them Research Methods and Project Management, Socioecology and Natural Resource Management, as well as Management and Analysis of Environmental data.
Dr Vassall has served in several corporate Senior Managerial, other Managerial and Consultancy roles mainly within the field of human resource management in Jamaica. She is a Board Member and Chair of the Human Resources Committee at the Portmore Community College.
