Ms. Sharon Estwick
Administrative Assistant - MoU Database and Franchise & Articulation Agreements
Ms. Sharon Estwick is an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Global Affairs (OGA), based in Barbados where she manages The UWI's agreement repository. She previously served as Administrative Assistant in CORIA and Stenographer/Clerk, Secretary and Administrative Assistant (Ag.) in the now defunct Tertiary Level Institutions Unit (TLIU) and the Office of External Relations, Inter- and Intra-Institutional Collaboration (ERIIC).
Her work has included contributions to publication, office management, institutional accreditation, programme articulation, course equivalencies and student transfer arrangement, institutional collaboration including partnership arrangements, franchising and joint programme delivery.
Some of her key projects include the Caribbean Lexicography Project and the publications A Book of African Caribbean Proverbs (2004) by Professor Richard Allsopp, and the TLIU book, Human Resource Needs and the Tertiary Education Sector Response in the Caribbean, published in 2009 by Ian Randle Publishers.
Ms. Estwick’s certifications include an Administrative Professional Secretaries’ Certificate (2000) ; an Administrative Corporate Secretaries’ Certificate (2002) from the UWI School of Continuing Studies. and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (The UWI).
