Dr. Lora Pilgrim has many years of experience in education with a focus on implementing online learning from the course level to institutional initiatives. She has managed and supported several UWI wide online learning projects including the Online Faculty Development Committee and the UWI Massive Open Online Learning (MOOC) Project. Dr. Pilgrim previously served as the Director (Interim) of the Office of Online Learning, with responsibility for coordinating online learning activities across The UWI system. She holds a PhD in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development with Comparative, International and Development Education from the University of Toronto (Ontario Canada). She is a PMP® certified project manager from the Project Management Institute and her research interests include online learning, leadership and the application of project management principles to higher education.
