Webinar Launch of the SDG Youth Advocacy Campaign

The SDG Youth Advocacy Campaign developed by The University of the West Indies in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) – Jamaica Country Office was officially launched via a collaborative webinar event held at the UN House, Port of Spain on April 4th, 2017.

Moderated by The UWI’s Director of Development, Stacy Richards-Kennedy and UNDP’s Programme Officer Poverty and Governance, Isele Robinson-Cooper, the webinar featured 3 representatives of youth organizations based in Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago: Mr. Michael Joseph of the UWI Youth Development Programme (via Skype); Ms. Leanna Kalicharan of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (via Skype); and Ms. Malene Joseph of the Global Shapers Community Port of Spain Hub who participated in person.

The webinar was circulated through the UWI’s What’s On network, the UN’s stakeholder network and other networks.
