University Office of Global Partnerships & Sustainable Futures

Welcome to the website of the University Office of Global Partnerships and Sustainable Futures.

In September 2019, the Office of Development transitioned to the Office of Global Partnerships and Sustainable Futures to further strengthen the university’s positioning and engagement with the 2030 global development agenda.  The Office focuses on advancing The UWI’s leadership on climate-smart and sustainability issues; donor engagement and international partnership opportunities; The UWI’s coordination and mobilisation of institutional grants for strategic priorities; and promoting the university’s support for the implementation of the SDGs in the Caribbean.

The University Office of Global Partnerships and Sustainable Futures is an office within the Regional Headquarters and is headed by a regional Director, Dr. Stacy Richards-Kennedy, who reports to the Vice-Chancellor.

Thank you for visiting our site.  Should you wish to collaborate with The University of the West Indies or to be put in touch with Departments that are working on SDG-related teaching, research or advocacy initiatives, please feel free to contact us at or (868) 662-2002 ext. 82043.
