Mr Richard Leach

Richard Leach is the head of the Derek Gordon Databank at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona, where micro-datasets are housed for research and archival purposes. He holds a MSc. degree in Computer-Based Management Information Systems from the UWI and a BSc. degree in Computing with Management Studies from the University of Technology (UTECH).

Richard has worked on several special projects, overseeing the coding and data entry activities and assisting in the data examination by conducting statistical analysis. He was instrumental in the overall upgrade of the SALISES network infrastructure and played a pivotal role in the implementation of the department's PolyCom video-conferencing system. He has supervised and provided technical services at several workshops, seminars and conferences hosted by SALISES. He is also responsible for designing and maintaining websites for these conferences.
