She is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow and former Head of the UWI’s Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) Mona Camus Unit. Leith is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer, teaching SALI6104 Social Inequality, Inequity and Marginalization and SALI6109: Social Investment in Children; graduate supervisor and researcher. Her work focuses on gender as a cross-cutting issue in sustainable development. She currently lives in Botswana and is a Research Affiliate with the Department of Sociology at the University of Botswana.
