Introduction to RBM

 

This workshop provides an overview of key results-based management (RBM) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) principles, concepts, theories, and approaches. Through practical application, participants will obtain basic knowledge and skills needed to effectively plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate programmes. The workshop content reflects emerging trends, methodologies, and tools in M&E and is delivered by experienced facilitators who are leading experts in the field of RBM. RBM supports evidence-based decision making which is fundamental to resolving national, regional and global challenges at the heart of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.  The workshop will therefore be of interest to budding RBM and M&E professionals who are looking to effectively influence evidence-based policymaking by first understanding or revisiting the fundamentals of RBM.
