Hurricane Allen 1980

Eye of the storm passed just north of Barbados, the highest measured winds was only 68 kt at the Airport on the south side of Barbados, far from Allen’s strongest winds, Local officials estimate damage at US $ 6 million, primarily to private housing, agriculture and the fishing industry . No deaths were reported.
