About Professor Henrice Altink
Henrice Altink is a professor in Modern history. She has written extensively about race, class, gender and other inequalities in the Caribbean. More recently she has extended her research into the environmental history of the Caribbean and Latin America. In 2017/18, she ran a GCRF-funded network on risk and resilience in the coastal Caribbean. She is also a CI on a NERC-funded project that aims to develop an insurance product for coral reefs in the Caribbean
