TRIBUTES AND HONOURS

UWI London Fundraising Gala

The stately halls of Lincoln’s Inn pulsed with the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean as The UWI hosted its inaugural London Benefit Dinner on November 16, 2024. /p>

Under the patronage of the eminent Professor Shirley Thompson, guests gathered to celebrate excellence, legacy, and hope. The black-tie gala shimmered with inspiration as London’s historic venue transformed into a beacon of Caribbean pride and unity.

Centred on the theme ‘Educate to Elevate’, the evening raised vital funds for postgraduate scholarships, empowering students at the forefront of climate research and social innovation.
