MOOCs

In the review period, The UWI continued building on its global reputation and increasing its course offerings to a global market through its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) strategy, effected in partnership with FutureLearn, a UK-based MOOC provider.

The UWI launched its MOOC Making Process with four pilot programmes:

• Introduction to Medical Cannabis: Seed to Sale
• Principles of Palliative Care
• The True Story of Jamaican Jerk
• West Indies Cricket: Our Story

Work also advanced on a MOOC in Transformative Feminist Leadership, to be launched in the 2022–2023 academic year
