One of the region's leading awards recognising excellence in all fields of endeavour is the Anthony Sabga Caribbean Awards for Excellence (ANSCAFE). Among the distinguished laureates in 2020 for Science and Technology and Public and Civic contributions, respectively were two female academics at The UWI.
