On May 8, Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Hilary Beckles energised the Council, the university’s highest governing body, during a live annual report presentation themed “Future-Proofing UWI: Leading the Digital Revolution.” Vice-Chancellor Beckles emphasised that this forward-thinking approach is fuelled by innovation, operational efficiency, and a drive to diversify revenue, as the university faces rising expenditures and funding challenges.
