SVG - 3 Ways to Give
Submitted by KevinM on Tue, 04/13/2021 - 20:19
Consistent with our traditional emergency assistance protocols, The UWI is activating a two-phased approach to the response efforts for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) following the eruption of the La Soufrière Volcano. As part of the first phase, which includes rapid response in the deployment of relief aid, special priority will be given towards healthcare, education and displaced students left vulnerable. We encourage all staff, students, alumni, partners and friends to rally round SVG by opening your hearts and pockets.
The UWI Open Campus, led by Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Affairs and Principal, Dr Luz Longsworth, will be spearheading the immediate relief efforts from the University.
