The Mona Academy of Sport through its Athletic Development & Training section donated several PUMA sprinting spikes to the August Town Primary School track and field team. The school recently commenced their track and field programme with the aim of recognising and developing the young talent within the August Town community. The track and field programme has been faced with many challenges as the students and school have found it difficult to purchase much-needed equipment and gear. The Athletic Development & Training section, in our bid to play our part in developing young talent, decided to assist the institution’s programme. The students were ecstatic to receive the footwear a day ahead of the INSPORT Primary school championships held at the Stadium east last month.
