PROJECT SUMMARY

This Project, led by academics from Yale, Tufts and UWI aims to make the international trading system more inclusive, just and sustainable. With over 10 workshops conducted around the world looking at the trade/sustainability interface, the Project has managed to produce a report called the Villars Framework for a Sustainable Trade Future, available here: https://remakingtradeproject.org/villars-framework

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Over ten workshops implemented throughout 2023 on various topics interrogating the trade and sustainability interface such as climate, social issues (gender, marginalized groups), blue economy, circular economy, just transition.  The Workshops and papers prepared in connection with them are available here: https://remakingtradeproject.org/
