Hurricane Dog 1950

Highest winds estimated at 130 miles per hour, lasting for 6 hours, reported to be one of the most severe
hurricanes in the history of that island. Many homes and business houses were destroyed or damaged,
roads were blocked, crop destroyed, fallen trees, communication affected and power lines down. In
Barbuda winds also estimated at 130 miles or greater with equal or worse devastation than Antigua
Storm Surge of 8ft reported
