Nicola Madden-Greig has been honoured by the Government of Jamaica with a national honour: the Order of Distinction (Officer Class). A decades-long veteran of the tourism industry, she was honoured with the 2019 Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) President’s Award.

She is a past president of the JHTA and current fifth Vice President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), and she is the only two-time recipient of the prestigious award. Notably, she is one of only three women to have served as JHTA President in the organization’s 60+ years in operation.

Additional JHTA positions held by Mrs. Madden-Greig include Chairman of the Membership Sub-committee, Chairman of the Fundraising and PR Sub-committee, and Area Chairman of the JHTA Kingston Chapter. Currently, Mrs. Madden-Greig sits on the Boards of the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, and the Jamaican Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Tourism Linkages Council.

She also gives back to her Alma Mater and has been involved as a mentor through the University of the West Indies Mentorship Program and is a former President of the Mona School of Business Alumni Association.

She has been Group Director of Marketing and Sales for The Courtleigh Hospitality Group, Group Director, marketing and sales at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston; Group Director, marketing and sales at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort (Jamaica), and Group Director, marketing and sales at Courtleigh Hotel & Suites.
