Carolle M. Dalley was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where she attended Holy Childhood High School. After graduation, she enrolled in the Natural Sciences Faculty of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.  Out of curiosity, she one day wandered into an aptitude test being conducted to determine eligibility for a Data Processing class that was being jointly launched by IBM and the Social Sciences Faculty.  Going into the aptitude test, she was planning to become a mathematics teacher.  Coming out of the aptitude test, she was determined to become a computer programmer.  After earning a Bachelor of Science degree, she embarked on a career in Information Technology.  Starting as a computer programmer, Carolle later became a systems analyst.  After working at National Housing Trust in Kingston, she  relocated to Mandeville to take up a position at Alcan Jamaica Limited. Then she went on to Australia where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Queensland.  Carolle relocated to California, where she continued her career in Information Technology.  After earning a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, she took on responsibilities including project management, automated testing, implementation of Waterfall, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps methodologies, as well as implementation of Carnegie Mellon University’s software capability models (SW-CMM and CMMI).

While in California, Carolle pursued an interest in Analytical Psychology, by spending her vacations in locations where she could attend classes in psychology: Zurich, Switzerland; London, UK; and Vermont, USA.  When she retired in 2018, she relocated to Florida and began her next adventure as an author.  So far, she has written two books about the relationship between technology and psychology.  In 2020, she published her first book “Psyche’s Response To Singularity”.

In 2022, she published a second book titled “A PARADIGM SHIFT: From Technology-Literate People To People-Literate Technology”. Author Carolle M. Dalley wrote this expertly crafted book for educated laypeople interested in the trend found in multiple industries, where previously, it was common for people to learn about technology, but now algorithms are learning about people. Those who will especially appreciate this book are project managers, social psychologists, and business managers. Carolle is uniquely qualified to write this book because she is a retired IT project manager who pursues an interest in the relationship between technology and psychology. With keen insight, she explains how people and algorithms are changing each other in areas of technology, psychology, demography, business operations, project management, genetic engineering, biocentrism, and reputation management. What differentiates her book from similar books that are available on the market, is the way she demonstrates that technology and psychology are twin threads that jointly influence each discipline that contributes to the paradigm shift in collective human thought.

Both books are available at Amazon (www.Amazon.com) and Barnes & Noble (www.BN.com).
