Samuel Johnson to head the International Airport project in Dominica

UWI graduate Samuel Johnson has been appointed as the CEO of International Airport Development Company, effective March 1, 2021. He also holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Engineering from The UWI and an MBA from Michigan State University and is skilled in supply chain management and marketing.

Samuel Johnson has over 25-years of experience in senior management, and he has held leadership roles in Dominica and several fortune 500 companies globally.

The International Airport project is expected to open many opportunities for development in various sectors in Dominica, including tourism, agriculture, and new employment opportunities for citizens. The International Airport of Dominica will be capable of accepting long-haul flights, and there will be a separate section to accommodate private jets.
