The main objectives of the course were to: strengthen the participants’ capacity to improve the design and implementation of child-centered policies; promote the wide use of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Jamaica Child Care and Protection Act   and improve the capacity of public sector workers to monitor and evaluate child-centered policies.

The participants prepared action plans for the improvement in the adherence of Child Rights which they have committed to implemented in their respective agencies.
