Kisserup signs MOU with the University of the West Indies

(15 January-2009) Kisserup International Trade Roots Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of the West Indies (UWI) Consulting Inc., which has its headquarters in Castries, St. Lucia and offices at Mona (Jamaica), St. Augustine (Trinidad and Tobago) and Cave Hill (Barbados).

“UWI has produced most of the region’s prime ministers, has helped to shape the politics, culture and identity of the Caribbean and boasts thousands of graduates who are influential in every walk of life throughout the region and the Diaspora.” said Professor E. Nigel Harris, UWI Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of UWI Consulting at the launch of UWI Consulting Inc.

Kisserup and UWI Consulting Inc., in collaboration with the Mona School of Business, will work together to jointly undertake trade facilitation and training in the Caribbean. A number of projects for 2009 have been identified and this formal agreement is to clarify objectives and the role of each party.
